The first answer that popped into my head was Philly.
That said, for the sake of money I'm inclined to say any place that's centrally located and is cheap to fly into.
As dumb as it sounds perhaps somewhere in Texas like maybe Houston or Austin.
Philly and NYC metro are fairly well covered with existing events. I think Austin and Atlanta are good options
